Prospect House | Neighborhood Development Services
Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) recently closed a $752,482 permanent loan with NeighborWorks Capital for Prospect House in Ravenna, OH. By refinancing at an affordable interest rate, NDS will be able to keep 66 apartments affordable for low- and very low-income seniors. NDS purchased and rehabilitated the property in 2007 using LIHTC equity and state/local subsidy loans, which have been maintained through this refinancing.
Care Alliance Health Center
Care Alliance, a community health center (FQHC) historically focused on providing healthcare to the homeless and individuals living in public housing, will expand its services to residents of the Central neighborhood in Cleveland. The Central neighborhood has the highest concentration of public housing in Northeast Ohio and has limited access to primary care services. The new two-story, 30,000 sq. ft. community health center will house primary care, dental, behavioral health, podiatry, vision and social services, as well as an on-site pharmacy and community rooms. It will meet LEED Silver certification standards for New Construction and Major Renovation.
DanaMont Square LLC/University Station
Student housing (rental), retail space and office space: University Station is the first of a two-phase redevelopment to create a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use community adjacent to Xavier University in Cincinnati. It will feature 176 apartments, 39,940 sq. ft. of ground floor retail and 36,300 sq. ft. of office space in four newly constructed buildings. The project will provide off-campus student housing, retail including a new university bookstore and office space for companies associated with the university. Office tenants will also include a primary healthcare provider offering services to low-income people.
