Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Vice President Martin Harvier offers a brief history of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa's efforts to cultivate citizen-owned businesses and then do business with those companies.
OASIS is a 94,000 sq. ft. hospital facility for orthopedic and spine procedures developed by a unique partnership of 42 orthopedic and spine surgeons in the Phoenix area, Catholic Healthcare West and United Surgical Partners International. An estimated 170 full-time permanent jobs and 20 part-time jobs were created. Health benefits and retirement plans are offered to employees.
