CDFIs are a vital source of capital for the small and micro businesses in our communities, businesses that typically aren’t at the scale to be served by the large banks. They create jobs, generate taxes and keep our communities and economy vibrant and strong.
The CDFI Fund, and the organizations it serves, enable greater numbers of people to participate in the US economy in a positive way, creating jobs and businesses, while producing vital goods and services.
Since 2011 the RGVMB CDFI has assisted over 140,000 borrowers across the Nation with access to needed capital. This work can only be done with help from the CDFI Fund.
