For more than 50 years, the Voluntary Action Center has helped individuals and families navigate homelessness, poverty, and other hardships. The new Opportunity Campus will bring shelter, healthcare, case management, employment resources, and other essential services together in one location. The campus will include a 150-bed emergency shelter (serving 500 people annually) and a medical clinic offering primary care, behavioral health, dental, and substance-use treatment, as well as a resource center to make it easier for people to access the support they need as they work toward stable housing and greater independence.
