Florida Community Loan Fund provided a $7 million NMTC allocation to rebuild and expand the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club after Hurricane Ian destroyed much of its North Port campus. The completed 23,000 sq. ft. facility can serve up to 350 youth and includes classrooms, technology space, a teaching kitchen, teen center, and career-preparation programs.
