Project Hope is a nonprofit organization that grew out of the work of the Little Sisters of the Assumption beginning in Dudley Square in 1947. Now, with MHIC’s financing, Project Hope has opened a mixed-use facility that is a model for providing neighborhood-based services for homeless and formerly homeless women and parents. The nonprofit provides job training, housing, counseling and other services to foster self-sufficiency and to enable low and very low-income people to obtain and hold livable wage jobs.
