MLK Community Hospital Medical Center

NMTC financing was used to design, construct and operate a $32.5 million, 52,000 sq. ft., two-story medical office building adjacent to MLK Community Hospital. This will be the next step in tackling health disparities in South Los Angeles. The facility is anchored by the MLKCH Primary Care Medical Group, a new Nonprofit Medical Group for Doctors established in conjunction with MLKCH to serve South Los Angeles). The project will create 250 full-time healthcare jobs and will serve over 49,000 patients annually. This project will deliver high quality inpatient care typically unavailable or unaffordable within low-income communities.
