Built in 1900 for the Richter Brewing Company, the building located at 1615 Ludington Street is known to many as the historic Delta Building and is one of only five historic brewery buildings still remaining in the entire state. The Delta building project is the rehabilitation of an existing structure rescuing and preserving the city charm, turning grand monuments of the past into grand residences of the future. The Delta Building was predominately vacant from the 1940s until 2008, when purchased by Swanee, Inc. lead by local designer, Matt Sullivan. Swanee completed a historic rehab of the building activating into 15 luxury-style loft apartments with three reserved for 80% Area Median Income tenants, and a first floor salon and spa.
