The NMTC financing will allow the Food Bank of the Rockies in Grand Junction, Colorado, to increase food distribution and narrow the gap between community need and availability of hunger relief services; and will also help cover the growing operating costs, including payroll, food purchases and marketing expenses. Currently, one in nine service area residents are food insecure, including one in seven children.
