Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas stepped in after Mercy Hospital Fort Scott closed, taking over local primary-care clinics and preserving access to medical services in the rural community. The expansion helped CHC/SEK provide medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and other services while building local healthcare capacity.
