Between 2005 and 2023, there was $5.1 billion in total lending from CDFI Fund award recipients, including $2.3 billion in loans to businesses and entrepreneurs, $1.3 billion in housing development and mortgage lending, $583.6 million in consumer lending, $819.7 million in lending to commercial real estate and community facilities, with the balance going to other activities.
