Goldenwest Breaks Ground on New Mountain Green Branch

Goldenwest Credit Union celebrated a major milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Mountain Green branch on October 3, 2024. Scheduled to open in May 2025, the full-service location will be situated on Old Highway Road, directly across from Lee’s Supermarket.
M&J Mobile Home Park, located in Fielding, Box Elder County, Utah, is a very low-income community of about 22 people that has struggled with high arsenic levels and contamination risks in its drinking water in recent years. RCAC began working with M&J in fall 2017, after the Utah Division of Drinking Water issued a “Do Not Use” order due to the system’s dire state.
This investment will finance the new construction of a 68,000 square foot community recreation center in Ogden, UT. The new, significantly larger facility—nearly twice the size of the original—will expand its offerings to better serve the surrounding severely distressed neighborhood.
