With financing, the Center renovated a historic library into a new 129,000 sq. ft.facility. The project was a catalyst for reinvestment in this downtown city core, which had been stagnant for years.

The Knowledge Is Power Program ('KIP') charter schools is a national network of three, nonprofit open enrollment charter schools with a renowned track record of preparing students from our nation's most educationally undeserved communities for success in college and life.
