Located across the street from the University of Kansas Medical Center, the project features urban-style design with retail and residential components, and an 83-room Holiday Inn Express. The first floor of the development will feature approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of new retail and restaurant space to serve traffic from the Hospital, Medical Center, the immediate neighborhood, and busy thoroughfares, such as Interstate 35.

LISC Greater Kansas City, one of the nation’s largest Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI), in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the Hall Family Foundation, and the City of Kansas City, Missouri, has established a $4 million Catalytic Urban Predevelopment Fund to provide low-interest, flexible predevelopment loans for projects in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri (KCMO) and Kansas City, Kansas (KCK).
