AL’s Burgers
Bridge Investment provided a small business loan to help AL’s Burgers establish its Rock Island restaurant after owner Besa spent years working toward opening the business. Strong demand for its affordable smash burgers later supported expansion to a second location in Moline.
Honey Bee Child Development Center
Bridge Investment financed construction of the Honey Bee Child Development Center at Shimer Square, expanding childcare capacity for families in rural Carroll County. The project supported construction jobs and is expected to create permanent childcare positions as part of the broader redevelopment of the former Shimer College campus.
Run-A-Way Buckers
Run-A-Way Buckers operates a rural summer day camp where children participate in farming, animal care, arts and crafts, and other youth-development activities. Bridge Investment provided a microloan that allowed the organization to purchase a seven-passenger van to improve transportation for campers, including children with special needs.
Darmok Designs
Bridge Investment financing helped Darmok Designs launch and hire an additional employee as the Moline manufacturer expanded its production and consulting operations. The company develops automated manufacturing processes and produces precision metal components for U.S. manufacturers.
