Clearinghouse CDFI provided $11.7 million to Benchmark Development for acquisition of the 93-room Fairfield by Marriott on the Oneida Nation Reservation in Verona. Oneida Indian Nation acquired the underlying property and established a ground lease, expanding Native ownership while retaining permanent jobs and supporting regional tourism.
