Carolina Small Business Development Fund provided financing and business guidance that helped Army veteran Kristian Sorensen open a community makerspace equipped for woodworking, 3D printing, repairs, and other creative activities. The studio provides memberships, classes, and shared tools while Sorensen plans to use the business to help other veterans and community members develop skills and pursue entrepreneurship.
