Carolina Small Business Development Fund provided financing that allowed Jimmy Evans to renovate and expand Headquarters Barbershop from a three-chair shop into five individual barber suites. CSBDF had previously supported the Raleigh business through pandemic-era grant funding, while Evans also operates a nonprofit that trains barbers to connect clients with mental health resources.
