Indian Land Capital Company provided $3 million in financing that allowed the Cheyenne River Buffalo Company to purchase a slaughter and processing facility and associated real estate. The tribally owned company retained the facility’s workers and equipment, expanded its buffalo herd, and increased its capacity to process and market locally produced food.
