Finata, formerly known as Community First Fund, allocated $16.5 million in NMTCs in March for the $22.3 million redevelopment of the Community Medial Campus and Annex in Reading, Pennsylvania. Shuman Development Group is leading the development, which seeks to revive the medical campus as a federally qualified health center. Wells Fargo invested in the NMTCs for the first of the endeavor’s two phases. The development team hopes the effort will retain 200 jobs and create 100 more.
