Precision Hardwoods is completing a $16M new sawmill facility with the assistance of NMTCs. The project entails the construction of a new 45,000 square foot building to house new sawmill equipment, including a brand new HewSaw sawline, a debarker, a Carobotech Log system, Pendu Autostacker, a Pendu CutStock Line new loaders and forklifts. The project expands Precision Hardwoods existing sawmill operation, which includes an estimated 10,000 square foot facility that processes 4 million b.f. of industrial and grade lumber per year. The new facility will increase board footage to 30 million annually to provide lumber to 25-30 different companies in 5 different states.
