Truist recently partnered with Carver Financial Corporation to finance the construction of a new, state-of-the-art Positive Place Boys & Girls Club and to fund the purchase of new buses. Truist provided $3 million in allocation alongside $7 million from Carver, generating $3.12 million in gross equity for the project. The 25,000-square-foot facility includes a new basketball gym, classrooms, STEM lab, arts center, game room, culinary arts space, and a workforce development and career readiness center. Thanks to New Market Tax Credit financing, the Club will quadruple its capacity to serve up to 450 youths each year in Gainesville, Georgia.
