Cascadia Village was one of the first preservation projects completed in Oregon using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. The project saved 32 units of affordable housing from disappearing from Sweet Home. In addition to preserving affordability, the 1999 rehabilitation of the property included new windows, patio doors, appliances, siding and some plumbing upgrades.
