The financing allowed the Native-owned company to complete the property and create a rural tourism business offering lodging and outdoor amenities.

Citizen Potawatomi Community Development Corporation used its SSBCI-supported commercial loan program to help Clayton Cleere acquire a trucking business and its equipment after conventional financing proved unaffordable. A second CPCDC loan helped the Tecumseh-based company add equipment and expand its hauling operations across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas.

The business grew from a food truck into a brick-and-mortar location in Lawton.
