The CDFI Coalition has been notified by the CDFI Fund that FY 2025 award notifications are beginning to be released. Coalition members have confirmed that award announcements were shared directly with individual grantees today.
In response to questions from CDFIs and other stakeholders, the Coalition has also confirmed with the CDFI Fund that Housing Finance Assistance (Housing FA) was not included in this round of award notifications. Housing FA awards may be released at a later date.
The CDFI Fund is expected to update its searchable awards database as awards are finalized. The Coalition does not expect a separate official announcement or comprehensive awardee list accompanying this round of notifications.
CDFIs and other stakeholders who have received an award notification are encouraged to share their award status with the Coalition. Award recipients can reply to the Coalition’s email or contact Madison at madison@rapoza.org.
This round of award notifications comes as we mark 32 years since the CDFI Fund was signed into law on September 23, 1994. Over more than three decades, the CDFI industry has continued to demonstrate the importance of mission-driven financial institutions in expanding access to capital and opportunity in communities across the country.
The Coalition congratulates the CDFIs receiving FY 2025 awards and recognizes the hard work, collaboration, and persistence of CDFIs and their partners throughout the award process. We look forward to continuing to work with the industry to support the CDFI Fund and the communities it serves.
