Our organization serves entrepreneurs and small businesses in Southeast Missouri. Located in the 8th Congressional District, the poorest district in the state, our customers rely on our program and the funding available through programs like the CDFI to get started and stay open. While not a CDFI yet we have plans to apply for TA and move forward for certification this year.
As a CDFI Lender, we are able to help small businesses, and underserved areas survive. Without this help, many of these businesses would not be able to continue to exist.
CDFIs are critical lender and investors in low-wealth communities and low-resourced communities in South Carolina. CDFIs are vital lenders for affordable housing, small businesses, and community facilities. We strongly support the protection of the CDFI Fund.
