We have been able to utilize NMTC and without this financing many of the projects we have done in Minneapolis would not have been possible. It’s been a wonderful facility to support small businesses, economic development, and critical services to low-income communities. Please continue these programs, they do make a difference.
CDFIs provide an important unique opportunity support communities by creating opportunities for underbanked companies and individuals to pull themselves up by their bootstrap by creating new businesses, housing and strengthening financial composites
CDFIs are not just banks. They are lifelines. Without them, thousands of small businesses-many in overlooked neighborhoods (urban and rural) – would never get access to capital, training, and the support they need to survive, let alone thrive.
