We are proud to be one of the many CDFIs channeling capital into otherwise economically underserved communities nationwide. Since 2017, we have financed over 3,000 affordable homes, aided by awards from the CDFI Fund. The CDFI Fund’s programs are essential to our work and our ability to attract and leverage private capital.
CDFIs are an important to give access to those who can’t get access to capital from traditional banks and provides important Technical assistance to borrowers pre and post loan as needed.
CDFIs assist businesses and individuals that often cannot access bank capital. Especially in rural SD access to capital is difficult and the # of small banks have been reduced.
