We are proud to be one of the many CDFIs channeling capital into otherwise economically underserved communities nationwide. Since 2017, we have financed over 3,000 affordable homes, aided by awards from the CDFI Fund. The CDFI Fund’s programs are essential to our work and our ability to attract and leverage private capital.
Our organization serves entrepreneurs and small businesses in Southeast Missouri. Located in the 8th Congressional District, the poorest district in the state, our customers rely on our program and the funding available through programs like the CDFI to get started and stay open. While not a CDFI yet we have plans to apply for TA and move forward for certification this year.
Century is a CDFI, and we finance affordable housing and provide capital to underserved communities. We urge continuation of investment and support the appropriation of critical funds to produce more housing.
