| 2008 CDFI Institute
On March 12-14 over 130 individuals joined us in Washington DC this year for the 2008 CDFI Institute, Assessing the Future: New Challenges and Emerging Opportunities. Attendees heard from special speakers including, Congressman Barney Frank, Senator Jack Reed, the office of Senator Richard Durbin, Donna Gambrell, and Ken Wade. Experts in community development finance discussed important topics such as the subprime foreclosure crisis, appropriations and legislation, making CDFIs a national priority, the triple bottom line and other emerging issues.
